my story & teaching philosophy

At 20, in the aftermath of a traumatic car accident, my life didn’t shatter outwardly — it unraveled inwardly.

What followed wasn’t just recovery. It was emotional turmoil, perfectionism turning against me, shame growing louder than compassion, and a quiet disconnection from my own body. I didn’t recognize the version of myself I was becoming. Fear had replaced steadiness. Judgment had replaced grace.

Yoga didn’t arrive as exercise.

It arrived as remembrance.

Through consistent, intentional practice, I began to see how my thoughts shaped my physiology. How unprocessed emotion lived in my breath. How the mind’s suffering could manifest as tension, depletion, and dis-ease within the body. What I once believed were isolated struggles began to reveal themselves as patterns — patterns that could be met, softened, and reshaped.

Slowly, I experienced something profound.

Self-forgiveness.
Self-compassion.
Self-acceptance.

Not as concepts — but as embodied states.

My breath deepened. My nervous system steadied. My inner dialogue softened. I began releasing the damaging beliefs that had quietly governed my life — perfectionism, shame, judgment — and in their place, I found strength rooted in vulnerability.

It was structured.
It was intentional.
It was nurturing.
It was strengthening.
It was powerful.

It unleashed my inner lioness.

And that is what I now call a Journey of Liberation.

SerenelyVibrant was born from that lived transformation. My dedication is to creating the kind of space that allowed me to begin this shift in awareness — a space of meticulous attention to your unique needs, where spirituality is grounded, where the body is honored, and where liberation is not abstract but felt in your breath, your posture, and your daily choices.

This work is about guiding you back to the serenity and vibrancy that have always been within you — helping you reconnect with your strength, your sovereignty, and your wholeness.

Not by escaping your life.

But by inhabiting it fully.

The Heart Behind SerenelyVibrant

As a yoga therapist with decades of experience working within healthcare settings, I have seen how deeply the mind, nervous system, and body are intertwined — and how often people are taught to override rather than understand themselves.

My teaching is built on emboldening you to step into your own distinctive unfolding of self-realization. I guide with gentle strength and grounded curiosity, creating space for you to explore your patterns without shame and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have gone quiet beneath stress, expectation, or survival.

I am not here to fix you. You are not broken. More often than not, you have adapted — beautifully and resourcefully — to what life has required of you. Together, we begin unwinding the layers of stagnation and self-judgment that keep you disconnected from your vitality. Through embodied awareness and therapeutic structure, you learn how to turn inward safely, how to listen to your body’s innate intelligence, and how to trust the answers that arise from within.

Over time, you become your own steady companion. You learn how to parent yourself with compassion rather than criticism. You release patterns of codependency and return to your sovereignty. The work is rarely effortless, but as each layer softens, more of your true essence becomes visible — not something new, but something remembered.

You are whole.
Your true nature is health.
Your true nature is joy.
Your true nature is peace.

And when approached with intention, this is what begins to surface, and it has unlimited potential.

This is the yoga therapy I teach.
This is the path to liberation.
